I use a Mac and I have downloaded a lot of data (legally!) with iTunes. In order to save space on the Mac itself, I wish to buy an external hard drive and transfer all my iTunes files onto it. Firstly, is this possible and if so how do I go about doing it? Would a simple copy and paste work? Secondly, if I then delete the files from iTunes will I still be able to play them? Thanks for your help!

My sister got these good songs on her itouch, and I don’t want to buy them again just to put them on my itouch, so I plugged both in to the same computer and I can’t figure out how to move the music from her itouch to mine. It’s only a few songs, so I would like to do it manually – help?

I’ve been downloading stuff from Limewire all day and when I try to sync my iTouch it says that my music can’t be found. What does this mean and how can I fix it?

I’ve never downloaded music off of another site besides itunes and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the file onto itunes.
I am specifically trying to do this with tracks that are online, but unavailable on itunes like video game music.

The problem is that i had deleted some songs from my itunes by mistake and i want those songs back. But those songs are still on my itouch becuase i havent sync my itouch yet. Is there a way to put those songs on my itunes again? Please Help!!!

On my itouch I’ll go to iTunes. Then I’ll search the music videos I want for example, burnin up. Under the results the music videos just isn’t there. The search results catergories are albums songs and podcasts. Where’s music videos?

Basically, I turned on the iTunes preference to organize the music on my computer in the iTunes folder, but I ended up with two of every song. When they’re copied into the iTunes folder on your computer, is it okay to go ahead and get rid of the other ones?
